This year's Anime Matsuri is our very first anime convention. We hardly knew most of the characters that the attendees portrayed, but it was a fun and interesting experience for us.
The amount of anime fanatics who attended the convention and the huge venue was overwhelming. There were numerous halls dedicated for specific events and activities, as well as for panels.
We even saw our friends, Duane and Melanie of Otaku Acoustic, performing acoustic anime songs as we entered the convention.
The highlight of our very first anime convention would have to be meeting all the amazing people who painstakingly created their costumes and gracefully donned them. Everybody was in character.
