Late First Post of the Year

I know I have somewhat neglected my blog for quite some time now. I have some content to share, but I just haven't found the motivation to post anything. I guess I have just been too obsessed with instagram lately, and the instant gratification and feedback I get from sharing mobile phone photos on that platform.

I still haven't posted all of the photos from the Indy Car Series at the Grand Prix of Houston, either. Photos from the second race of the event is still sitting in my hard drive, waiting to be published. Also, my wife and I went on a little road trip to Florida for Thanksgiving, and we spent a week in Washington, DC and NYC for my birthday and New Year. Having said that, there should be some content coming your way. I just have to find some time and motivation to make the post.

So, I open this year with a photo of Downtown Houston.

A month late, but what the hell. I might as well just start posting. :)

One more thing. My brother and I started a new blog about 4 or 5 months ago. It is about cars, and most of my car photos will now be posted there. So if you have some extra time, please head over to Rolling Classics and show us some love. There are only 2 posts as of the moment. Today is the first Saturday of the month, which means that it is the day for the monthly Coffee and Cars, which consequently means an early start to my day. Today started out nice... perfect weather to be outside early in the morning. Downtown Houston looked amazing in the distance (taken on N 610).

Dianne and I drove to Corpus Christi for Cupcake Meet 17, but we arrived very late. Too late in fact, that majority of the cars already left. So, after taking a few photos, we decided to head off to the beach to take a stroll and to enjoy the beautiful weather.
