On our trip back to Houston, from the Philippines, we had a 10-hour layover in Incheon Airport. So, being the adventurous (self-proclaimed) selves that we are, we decided to get a glimpse of Seoul, which was an hour away. We could have opted to go adventuring to the extreme by taking the rail, but we opted for the safer 5-hour day tour. We really did not want to miss our flight back, and we also wanted to avail of the airport's free showers before hopping on to the 11-hour long sitting.
It was a beautiful day when we arrived in South Korea. Sun was shining, and it looked warm.
Upon stepping out of the airport, we then realized that the sunlight definitely deceived us. It was cool... nice kind of cool temperature. The tour guide warned us that it was gonna be warm day, and that we should stay out of the sun. Having lived in Texas and in the Philippines, their kind of warm is nothing close to the warm we very well know.

Gyeongbokgung

Seoul is definitely a must-visit city. Hopefully, next time, we will have the opportunity to stay longer and explore the country. Until then, Seoul.
