Catching Up with Family and Friends
December 30, 2013
New York City, NY
I know these photos are already old. They were sitting on my hard drive for about seven months now. These are just some snaps from my birthday-New Year's Eve trip to New York City. This day in the pictures were mostly spent going around Manhattan buying gifts, and meeting family and friends.
We had the opportunity to meet up with our high school teacher, Sir Ed. It was brief, but we had a blast seeing each other, and trying to enumerate the places where our friends from high school are now located in the world. I wouldn't have thought that we would be doing that in Grand Central Station in NYC, halfway around the world from where we were sitting in class listening to Sir Ed's lecture 11 years ago.
We also met up with my cousin, Bernadette, and her daughter, Kat. We had a great time catching up, and it was nice to see that Kat has grown up so fast. We would have loved to see the energetic and hyper twins and Frank, but that would have to be scheduled for some other time.
I am totally missing New York City and winter, especially in this hot Texas weather lately. The city has a very unmistakable charm that surely draws people. On a side note, I challenge you to identify the photos taken using a DSLR, and the ones taken using an iPhone.
