Today is the first Saturday of the month, which means that it is the day for the monthly Coffee and Cars, which consequently means an early start to my day. Today started out nice... perfect weather to be outside early in the morning. Downtown Houston looked amazing in the distance (taken on N 610).

Dianne and I drove to Corpus Christi for Cupcake Meet 17, but we arrived very late. Too late in fact, that majority of the cars already left. So, after taking a few photos, we decided to head off to the beach to take a stroll and to enjoy the beautiful weather.

For Dianne's 27th birthday, we decided to stay in town, but ended up driving an hour or so for some barbecue and awesome lake view.

Quick Tour of Seoul

On our trip back to Houston, from the Philippines, we had a 10-hour layover in Incheon Airport. So, being the adventurous (self-proclaimed) selves that we are, we decided to get a glimpse of Seoul, which was an hour away. We could have opted to go adventuring to the extreme by taking the rail, but we opted for the safer 5-hour day tour. We really did not want to miss our flight back, and we also wanted to avail of the airport's free showers before hopping on to the 11-hour long sitting.

Butterfly Dress by Hani

Dress by Hani Balagtas

For the rehearsal dinner before our wedding, Dianne wore this beautiful dress created by her very talented friend, Hani Balagtas. The dress was a gift from Hani for the wedding, so in return we did a photo shoot with the dress as a thank you gift. Some of the photos have already been up on Hani's blog for a week now.

Summer Trip

About six weeks ago, Dianne and I went on a rather short three-week trip for our church wedding with family and friends in the Philippines. As much as I wanted to thoroughly document the whole trip, I did not get the opportunity to take pictures of everything that really mattered. I really wish that I took my camera with me everywhere I went during the trip.

Today is Dianne's birthday, thus the post. I printed these photos to be displayed at the entrance of our wedding reception. Unfortunately, the wedding coordinators did not give enough effort to put the photos up. On the bright side, I get to post the photos, for the first time, here on the blog. :)
